CONGRATULATIONS! To 1st. place winner Monique Trejo (AMAHS) student.  Monique won the 19th Annual 34th Congressional District Student Art Competition.   This is the 1st win for Roosevelt High School.  Kudos Monique!                         CONGRATULATIONS!  JROTC for competing against 19 other schools district wide in Academic Achievement Test Competition.      Kudos to JROTC Emily Valdez (L&G) she achieved the highest score in the district, out scoring 600 competitors.     Emily will receive the district's JROTC high academic award Congratulations!                       MINIMUM DAY is Friday, May 25, 2012 dismissal @ 12:23pm.                                  End of school year 2011-2012 is June 19th.                           RHS 2012 GRADUATION will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Shrine Auditorium 7pm.                     Summer School Credit Recovery will be 7/9 to 8/3/2012  8:30am to 11:50am.

Go Rough Rider Golf Team!

2012 Rough Rider's Boys Golf Team return this season to defend their 2011 League Finals Championship. Lead by Senior Returner Christian Zarate, Junior Returner John Galicia and Junior Erick Rivera.
The golf team is currently in second place with a 3-1 record. Golf matches are every Wednedsay @ 1:30pm, April 25th @ Roosevelt (Griffith Park), May 2nd @ Los Amigos, May 9th @ Whittier Narrows. Come out, support and cheer the boys rough riders golf team to another league championship.
